happy valentine's day!

i saved a frog tonight.

i was walking along a very dark street, and all of a sudden, there was this tiny frog in front of me. i almost stood on him in surprise and figured this was probably not a very good place for a frog to be late at night (i was recently mugged and have read a lot about knife crime).

i looked for a good place to put him and found him strangely co-operative - i have held frogs before and sometimes they jump out of your hand as you are standing up, leaving them further to fall.

not this frog.

i held out my hand and he jumped into it. i couldn't find a pond, so i found the garden with the most rain in it, and he waited patiently until i had fully lowered him before he jumped out again.

i felt a lot better.

unfortunately though, i had stepped on a snail during this process, and felt awful again.

i guess this is why humans should not play god.

coming up with ideas for environmental newspapers is tough.

this is from a little story i was going to do about a dog who sees a mer-dog. i still may do it. this was just a test really.

 i almost went on a picnic yesterday, but then i didn't.

in other news, i need to work on my anecdotes.

i had an idea to design bookmarks for kindles, but i have recently been informed this idea is shit. here was my prototype.

right - oscar got in trouble with the police so i had to send him off to military school, so that's the end of that for now.
